The first impression is always a lasting impression. Whether you have to go through a 3 part interview process or just one, each look describes you. From what you pick out to wear, to what you wear it with to how you wear it, your interview attire is as crucial as your attitude and skills. Here are some key points in what to wear to a job interview.
1) Dress your career. If you are in the fashion industry, always make sure you are extra fashionable in your choice of outfit.
2) For interviews, always wear closed toe shoes. No ifs, ands, or buts (unless instructed otherwise by the HR manager).
3)Tops/Blouses should not be low cut showing cleavage, shoulders or upper arms. See through blouses are a no no.
4) If you chose to wear skirts, they should not be short or tight. A great rule of thumb for skirts are that they should not be shorter then 2 inches above the knee front and back.
5)If you chose to wear pants, keep away from tight pants, and skinnies. For the short girls, make sure to get the pants that aren’t too long (petite pants).
6)Hold off on spraying heavy perfumes. Only the extremely light-non fruity smells will do.
