So I decided to take a look at some styles that have come and gone and come back and left again. Some of these trends, I know for a fact I was a little too into and others I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. So I will tell you guys some of my remember that trends and you can tell me yours.

REMEMBER THAT:

1) Jelly Shoes

* I loved this look when I was a little princess

2) The Ruffle Underwear For Little Girls

Now Turned Sexy….Who Would Have Thought Right

3) Geek Glasses

*I had geek glasses. Let me correct that. I had regular glasses that looked geeky on me, and then it became a trend. Go figure.

4) Shirts With Sayings

*It’s safe to say that many people were involved with this trend that just won’t die.

Everytime I think it’s dead…..someone comes up with another dumb saying

5) The Neon Surf  Look

* The look that you can pick up at any gas station or beach store

6) Neon Heels

* Red Light. Green Light. Really!! This one just killed me.

7) High Socks

* It just was never cute. I always wondered if we embraced such a trend because our lower leg was cold or we were trying to cover up bruises from our younger age.

8. Stackable Anklets

* I guess one was just not enough for some of us.

9) Toe Rings

* Are we really still doing this? I say stay away from it. If your toes do not look good by themselves, then a toe ring will not help it. It’s like trying to put on perfume without taking a shower. It just won’t work.

10) Cartoon/Character Shirts

* Cute as they maybe, anyone over the age of 25 and up should not be wearing these shirts but to sleep (alone). But maybe Elmo can be the exception right?

11) Rainbow Dresses

*I’m just confused about rainbow dresses. Rainbow dresses have always been worn wrong. I never seen it designed, fitted, or worn right. If you have, please send me a picture ASAP, because this picture of Joss Stone is just a bandage dress with colors. A No- No in my closet.

12) Sequins Dresses

* Oh stop! You remember when sequins was just plain wrong. Your mother’s old dress and even your grandmother’s old dress left you wondering about the state of fashion. I guess we can stop the worrying for now and see some that are actually done right.

13) Shoulder Pads

* Ummmm……yeah. Guess you figured out my thoughts on this one. Don’t get me wrong. I have seen it done right, just not often enough.
